Hello stamping friends!!

It is the first of the month again!

That means it's time for another Monthly Special.

The first week of each month, High Hopes has a special sale on certain stamps.

This sale is only available directly through the High Hopes Website.

High Hopes Stamps is located in South Western Ontario, surrounded by farm land. This time of year we love that many of our local farmers put up roadside stands selling the best of their crops. Every year we stock up on fresh peaches and cream corn to freeze, Zucchini to make into loaves of bread to freeze, and Blueberries, Apples and Peaches to can. Canning the fruits, and making and canning homemade salsa is a fall tradition that our family has had for years. We also love to go to the Fairs to see what other folks are making, and baking!

My Stickles Storage

Hello!
And here is my new.......Stickles Storage.
My hubby has made it for me two days ago and i`m sooooo happy. He has used a wooden board and Pipe Clips. First he has painted the wooden board with glaze. And then he has fixed the Pipe Clips on the wooden board.

Und hier ist meine... Stickles Aufbewahrung.
Mein Mann hat es mir das Brett vor 2 Tagen fertig gemacht. Und ich bin soooo glücklich darüber. Er hat es erst mit einer Lasur bestrichen und hat dann Rohrclips (in den Größen 20/22 und 28 ) befestigt.

Here are 3 of the Model Train Accessories Cans . They are great for the cards and you can use it like Flower Soft. And in many colors (yellow, red, many different green color`s, grey, black).

The Night before Easter

'Twas the night before Easter. All was calm and laid back.
Fred, the mouse in the kitchen, snarfed down a late snack.
The eggs were all dyed but still drippy and sticky...
To be honest, they looked just a little bit icky.
There were big jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and such,
And as Fred stuffed his face, he sighed, "This is too much!"
Phil and Rose were in bed watching late night TV,
While munching saltines with low-sodium Brie.

Then a sudden commotion rang out in the night.
It shook Phil and Rose, really gave them a fright.
Phil's hair stood on end, and his eyes bugged out big...
Rose whipped off the covers and knocked off her wig.

They lunged to the window, yanked open the blinds...
What they saw was amazing; it boggled their minds:
Across the night sky, with a noise like the dickens,
Soared a minivan drawn by eight overgrown chickens!

At the wheel sat a bunny -- cute, fuzzy and fat --
In designer blue jeans and a Panama hat.
Like a speeding space shuttle, those chickens they flew,
As the van driver called to each hen in his crew:

And emerged from the fireplace, adjusting his jacket.
This bunny was chic, he had class, he had flair ..
Not your average bozo, not your typical hare.

His ears were enormous; his huge overbite
Was right under a nose like a pink neon light.
His manner was smooth, he was hip, he was cool;
This floppy-eared bunny was no fuzzy fool.

"While I'm here," he smiled, "Everybody relaxes ...
I'm not selling storm windows, won't audit your taxes.
I'm just here to bring you some fun and delight.
Eat, drink, and be merry! Let's party tonight!"

So they sipped diet soda and swapped silly jokes,
Those birds and their bunny just being plain folks.
Then flop-ears said, "Hey, friends, we've had quite a ball,
But my chickens and I are now due in St. Paul!"

He crossed both his eyes. Then he wiggled one ear,
And he yelled to his chicken team, "We're outta here!"
As the minivan rose in the 3 a.m. sky,
He called out, "Later, Phil! And to you, Rose, good-bye!"

As he sped out of sight, his two friends heard him say,
"Happy Easter to all! Have a beautiful day!"

Hallo!
Heute ist der erste High Hopes Sneak Peak Tag mit den neuen Stempeln designed von "Sir" Dustin Pike und "Lady" Laurie Furnell . Und gleichzeitig ist es auch unser Challenge Tag.

Das heutige Thema der High Hopes Challenge ist "For the Boys" .

Ich habe direkt den"Robot in Saucer" benutzt mit dem passenden Spruch "Transmitting Birthday Wishes". Für die Dekoration habe ich mir aus dem Werkzeugkasten von meinem Mann noch schnell Muttern rausgesucht und auf die Karte geklebt, da ich das passend für den Roboter finde.

Hi and Hello!

A new week, a new High Hopes Challenge !!!

The topic from this Challenge come from Alie and it is "USE FABRIC".

I've been sitting here many days and had to think, what i can make. And then i had the idea, that i make a Circus Tent. I cut the yellow and blue fabric from old bed linen and the red fabric is from an old T-Shirt. The green ribbon is a normal ribbon . *LOL*
And in the middle of the tent you can see the little cute Magician "Henry the Great " with his bunny`s.

It is not a Masterpiece, but i had fun at this Challenge.

High Hopes Tutorial "Masking"

Good morning to a new High Hopes Tutorial. !!!!!!!

The Tutorial today come from me and the topic is "MASKING".
I show you today a Step-by-Step Masking Card.

Have fun and i hope, i see some "Masking Cards" from you. :-)

First, i search the material, i need for the first step.
Acrylic blocks in different sizes, a Scissors, a Stamp Positioner with Square, Watercolor Paper, normal white Paper, Scotch tape, Inkpad and High Hopes Stamps.

Step1:

Then I put first the Rubber Stamps on the paper and look, if it is the perfect place for every stamp. You see later, that i had not used the "Bossie's Bad Mood" and the "Branch", because i had no more place on the card. Some things you will only see in the moment, you stamp.

Step 2:

I start to stamp all things, they are in the Front. Than i stamp all the images, you see in the front again, but on white paper and cut it out.

Step 3:

On the back of the pictures that I had cut, I stick Scotch Tape. Then I glue it a few times on my hand. Only, if it not more strongly bonded, than i put it on the paper. (Then, the paper does not break, when the cut image peeled off on the end).

Step 4:

I stamp th next image on the square from the Stamp Positioner and look, on which place i can stamp the image.

Step 5:

I stamp the next image, cut it out ,..... I make this Step so long, till my scene is finish.

Step 6:

I peel off the cut images from the watercolor paper.

Step 7:

Now i need my watercolor pens and my Chalk.

Step 8:

I color with the watercolor pens.

Step 9:

Now i use the water .

Step 10:

Now i color with the Chalk and fix it with Hairspray.

Step 11:

Than i cut the card in the right size.

Step 12:

Here i have glued violet cardboard behind the card.

Step 13 and this is the last Step:

I color with a white glue pen a few Accents on the images.

- Party Cat
- Shelbert
- Rememberance Tree
- LG. Sunnie Face
- Bold Happy Birthday

Hallo!
Heute ist der erste High Hopes Sneak Peak Tag mit den neuen Stempeln designed von "Sir" Dustin Pike und "Lady" Laurie Furnell.
Ich habe direkt den süßen Biber benutzt Als ich den Biber gesehen habe, mußte ich lachen, weil er so süß ausschaut.Damit es zu dem Biber passt, habe ich Holzstöckchen mit auf die Karte geklebt. Für die Wiese habe ich Flower Soft "Spring" und "Shamrock Green" gemischt. Coloriert habe ich mit Aquarellstiften und Kreide.

I used direct the sweet Beaver. If i saw the Beaver, i had to laugh, because he look so cute. I find,that the little wooden stick are perfect for the Beaver card. For the grass i had mixed Flower Soft "Spring" and "Shamrock Green". I had colored with my watercolor pen`s and with Chalk.

Today we start the High Hopes Challenge with Debby`s topic "Buttons ". I had used the following High Hopes stamps. "Mouse Tales " and " Take a break ". I love the mice stamps from High Hopes (ok, you know, i love all High Hopes Stamps, because i`m addicted to High Hopes ) *LOL* . This mouse is so sweet. And i had the idea, that i stamp the saying "Take a break " on the book. For this Step i had used the Stamp Setter (i hope, this word is right in english).
I had colored with my watercolor pen`s.

The topic from Jeanne for the new High Hopes Challenge is "Happy Birthday". And it is time for a new High Hopes Scene. I had missed to stamp scene, but the last weeks were so chaotic and i had no time for scene cards. :-(
For my scene i used the following High Hopes stamps: "Bold Happy Birthday", "Team Canada", "Shelbert", "Ele-Fun", "Wild Party", "Round Balloon" and "Birthday Fish".
I had color it with watercolor pen`s. And i used Stickles, but on the photo, you can`t see the glitter. *grumble*. And under the "Team Canada" i had used Flower Soft Spring for the little Grass Knoll.

Heute kommt das Thema "Rot & Grün" von Cathy. Ich habe den Stempel "Hartley Framed Snowman" und den ersten deutschen Spruch "Fröhliche Weihnachten" benutzt. Ich finde es toll, daß High Hopes jetzt einen deutschen Spruchstempel hat.
Ich habe mit Aquarellstiften gemalt und mit Stickles habe ich die Sterne, die Nase und die Punkte der Weste beglittert.

Halloween ist ja meine Jahreszeit und mir gefallen alle High Hopes Halloween Stempel. Deswegen habe ich direkt 3 Stück auf der Karte verarbeitet. Und es sind "Simple Halloween", "Broom" und die süße...oh, sorry... ich meine natürlich ....die unheimliche "Silly Spider". "Silly Spider" und der Besen haben noch Wackelaugen bekommen.

Halloween is my Season and i love all High Hopes Halloween Stamps. Because of that, i had used 3 Stamps for the card. "Simple Halloween", "Broom" and the sweet.....oh, sorry.... i mean...the scary "Silly Spider". And i used for "Silly Spider" and "Broom" the funny google eyes.

Ich hab vor 2 oder 3 Wochen angefangen, mal wieder ein Glas zu gravieren. Es sollte ein Glas für unseren Freund Achim werden. Dafür hab ich ein Stemelmotiv von High Hopes genommen und zwar den "Soccer Star". Weitere Gläser werden folgen......

Hallo!
Willkommen zur neuen High Hopes Challenge. Das Thema kommt heute von Jeanne. Heute stelle ich Euch "Gonna Getcha" vor. Ich finde, daß die kleine Maus aussieht, als ob sie ein Rad schlagen möchte. Darum habe ich hinter der Maus kleine Scheiben angebracht einen langen Schlitz in die Karte geschnitten, so daß die kleine Maus hin und her rollt und es aussieht, als ob sie ein Rad schägt. Passend fand ich den Spruch "Oops!" dazu. "Gonna Getcha" steht auf einem Stückchen Wiese, wo ich Flower Soft für benutzt habe.

I find, that the little Mouse look , that she will do a cartwheel (i hope, this is the right word in english). That is , why i had made small disks behind the mouse and i cut a long slit in the card. And now, the Mouse rolls back and forth and she looks as she do a cartwheel. I find the perfect saying is "Oops!". "Gonna Getcha" stands on a little piece of grass. For the grass i had used Flower Soft Spring.

Heute ist der Sneak Peak Tag von High Hopes etwas ganz besonderes für mich. Denn, ich stelle Euch heute einen High Hopes Stempel vor, der nach meinem Mann und mir benannt worden ist. Dieses süße Mäusepaar , welches Laurie Furnell designed hat, heißt "Andy & Alex". Ich freue mich total darüber und bin stolz darauf und es war klar, daß ich diesen Stempel beim Sneak Peak Tag zeigen werde.

Today the High Hopes Sneak Peak Day is very special vor me. Because i show you a High Hopes Stamp, that High Hopes gave them the name from my hubby and me. This sweet Mice couple, which is designed by Laurie Furnell, call "Andy & Alex". I`m so happy and proud about this, and it was clear, that i show you this cute stamp on the Sneak Peak Day.

Hallo!
Heute ist der erste High Hopes Sneak Peak Tag mit den neuen Stempeln designed von Laurie Furnell. Da ich ein absoluter Halloween-Fan bin, mußte ich direkt die süße Hexe auf dem Heuballen benutzen. Sie heißt "Witchy Poo Stirring Brew" und ich find sie super. Das passende Boo "Boo Script" gibt es natürlich auch. Auf der Innenseite habe ich den großen "Zig-Zag Pumpkin Moon Frame" Rahmen benutzt. Für die Vorderseite mußten auch die 4 Eyelets-Spinnen mit drauf. Coloriert habe ich die Karte mit meinen Aquarellstiften.

Hello! Today is the first day from the High Hopes Sneak Peak with the new Rubber Stamps designed by Laurie Furnell. I`m an absolute Halloween-Fan and that is the reason, why i used the cute Witch on the Hay bale at first.Her name is "Witchy Poo Stirring Brew" and she is super. The saying is the little "Boo Script". The perfect Frame for inside the card is "Zig-Zag Pumpkin Moon Frame". For the front side i used 4 Eyelets-Spiders. I color this card with my Watercolor Pen`s.

Wir haben eine neue Designerin bei High Hopes! Es ist Laurie Furnell !!!! Sie hat absolut geniale Herbst / Halloween / Winter -Stempel für High Hopes gezeichnet. Über die Herbst und Halloweenstempel freue ich mich persönlich besonders, da Halloween meine Zeit des Jahres ist.
Der Release-Tag ist der 1. September und ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt. Es sind superschöne Stempel entstanden und ich kann es gar nicht abwarten, bis es Montag ist und die "Sneak Peak" Tage anfangen. Ab Mittwoch gibt es dann wieder einen High Hopes Blog Hop.

We have a new Designer by high Hopes ! It is Laurie Furnell !!! She had draw fantastic Fall / Halloween / Winter - images for High Hopes. Over the fall and Halloween Stamps, I`m personally especially since Halloween is my time of the year.
The Release Day is September, 1st and i`m so excited. Laurie has created supercute stamps and i can`t wait, till Monday start the Sneak Peak Days. On Wednesday start the High Hopes Blog Hop.

Guten Morgen und willkommen zu einer neuen High hopes Challenge!

Good morning and welcome to new High Hopes Challenge!

Heute kommt das Thema von mir und ich wollte "Alles andere als eine Karte". Zu dieser Challenge wollte ich eigentlich etwas ganz anderes machen, aber da ich seit ein paar Tagen etwas krank bin, habe ich mich doch für etwas einfacheres entschieden, als ich eigentlich vorhatte. Meine Kinder hatten mich schon vor einiger Zeit gefragt, ob ich ihnen nicht ein Memory machen könnte. Und das hab ich jetzt in die Tat umgesetzt. Es ist ein kleines Memory, für Lili aber ideal. Später werde ich noch mehr Karten dazumachen, damit es den 3 großen Kindern nicht langweilig wird.
Ich habe diese Stempel benutzt: "Hunny Bear", "Lizabeth Biking Angel"," Little Missy" and "Juliettes Leap Faith". Die Bilder habe ich mit Aquarellstiften coloriert.
Die Karten habe ich hinterher laminiert, damit sie lange halten.

Today come the topic from me and i would like to have "Anything but a card". For this challenge i wanted to do something completely different, but i`m a little bit sick since a few days and yet i decided a simple thing, than i had in my mind actually.It is a Memory Game, for our little Lili perfect. Later i make more cards , so that the 3 big kids don`t get bored.
I used these stamps: "Hunny Bear", "Lizabeth Biking Angel", "Little Mizzy" and "Juliettes Leap Faith". And i color the images with watercolor pen`s.
All the cards i had behind laminated, so they keep a long time.

Guten Morgen!
Heute ist schon wieder Sonntag. Die Woche ging richtig schnell um. Wahnsinn. Im Moment finde ich, rast die Zeit nur so an mir vorbei.
Heute haben wir bei dr High Hopes Challenge das Thema "Wasser- allgemein". Ich wollte nochmal eine kleine Unterwasserszene machen. Benutzt habe ich folgende Stempel: "Goldy", "See Floor Background", "Mer-Cat", "Diver Dan", "Dive right in", "Bubble Trio" and "Treasure Chest".
Das Gold in der Schatzkiste habe ich mit Gold-Stickles gemacht und die Luftblasen, sowie die Taucherbrille mit 3-D-Lack.

Wow, it is sunday again. The week was so fast gone. Crazy. At the moment, the time run so fast.
Today we have by the High Hopes Challenge the topic: "Water-general theme". I would like to stamp a little Underwater- scene. I used: "Goldy", "See Floor Background", "Mer-Cat", "Diver Dan", "Dive right in", "Bubble Trio" and "Treasure Chest".
The Gold in the "Treasure Chest " I made with Gold-Stickles and for the Bubble Trio and the diving googles i used 3-D-Paint.

Guten Morgen!
Heute haben wir bei der High Hopes Challenge das Thema: "Bänder und Schleifen- füge Bänder oder Schleifen auf Deiner Karte hinzu" welches sich Karen ausgesucht hat.
Da ich es gerne mag, wenn nicht soviel auf der Karte ist (außer, es ist eine Szene *LOL*), ist meine Karte heute wieder ehr schlicht gehalten. Ich habe "Krissy`s Snuggle Bear" benutzt und die kleine Schleife auf ihrem Pyjama durch die große Schleife "Rememberance Ribbon" ersetzt. Zum Schluß habe ich noch den Spruch "Take a break" genommen.
Verziert habe ich die Karte mit einem rosa Band und Halbperlen.

So i like it, if it is not so much on the card (besides there is a scene *LOL*) is my card today very simple. I used "Krissy`s Snuggle Bear" and i change the small bow from her pyjama and put the "Rememberance Ribbon" on it. And at the end i used the saying "Take a break".
I had decorated the card with a pink ribbon and backed pearls.

Herzlich Willkommen zur neuen High Hopes Challenge !
Endlich sind die Ferien des High Hopes Teams vorbei !!! Heute ist das Thema "Use your favorite embellishments" und kommt von Jeanette. Mein liebstes Embellishment ist der Totenkopf. Da ich Piraten total klasse finde, paßt dieser Totenkopf super dazu. Ich habe ihn aus Nikki`s Shop: Bunny Zoe`s Crafts . Der Pirat heißt "On Guard Oberto" und ich stempel sehr gerne mit ihm.

I love Pirates and the Scull and Crossbone Charm is perfect for this. I bought this Charm in Nikki`s Shop: Bunny Zoe`s Crafts. The Pirate is "On Guard Oberto" and i stamp very often with him.

Ich habe mir den süßen Hund "Puppy Love Frame" von den neuen High Hopes Stempeln ausgesucht. Coloriert habe ich mit Aquarellstiften und für die Sterne habe ich ein Stanzteil von Quickutz genommen.

I used the sweet little dog "Puppy Love Frame" from the new High Hopes Stamps. I color it with Watercolor Pen`s and i used the Star dies from Quickutz.
